Driver drowsiness monitoring

The system can detect the initial signs of fatigue by monitoring lateral movements of the vehicle, advising to take a break. A visual and acoustic warning will be recorded on the instrument cluster.

Rearview camera

The new Fiat Tipo is equipped with a rear camera that will help you carry out even the most complex maneuvers with ease.

Traffic sign recognition

This safety feature is able to detect and recognize traffic signs and display them on the TFT cluster.

Autonomous emergency brake

If an obstacle is detected, the new Tipo will automatically brake for you, avoiding any collisions with vehicles, pedestrians or cyclists, up to 130 km/h.

Lane Keeping Assist

If the car moves out its lane unintentionally, the system will provide a visual indication on the instrument panel accompanied by resistance of the steering in order to bring the car back into lane limits.

Intelligent speed assist

With speed limiter active it’s also possible to limit the car’s speed to the maximum allowed level read by the Traffic Sign Recognition system.
